Where to Find Scarlet Aegis

The Scarlet Aegis is a unique shield found in a chest behind a breakable wall. It is not crafted.

Prerequisites

To get the Scarlet Aegis, you will first need an explosive item like a Bratburst to destroy the wall. The recipe for the Bratburst is unlocked during the The Art of War Story Quest. Crafting a Bratburst may require a Spicy Shard, which in turn requires upgraded Omni-Tools.

Location Walkthrough

1. Once you have a Bratburst, head toward the tunnel east of the Podium in the Ceremony region. You will need a Red Soldier Ant Buggy to break the dead root blocking the entrance.
2. Enter the tunnel and take the right path at the fork. Be cautious of O.R.C. Northern Scorpion Jr.s in the area.
3. Proceed forward and turn right again next to the Raw Science to find a breakable wall. Throw the Bratburst at the wall from a safe distance and wait for it to explode.
4. Enter the newly opened area. The Scarlet Aegis will be inside a chest on the rubble, along with other valuable resources.
