Obsidian has stated the entire story won't be told at first; instead players will uncover clues and mysteries gradually. Major quests likely mirror the original's structure (finding SPAC.R parts, uncovering Wendell's notes, etc.), but set in Brookhollow. For example, one early mission could involve investigating the exploded statue site or exploring the anthill for clues.
