Ice-cream-cart "frozen" biome in Brookhollow Park. Grounded 2 takes place in Brookhollow Park, a 1992 suburban wilderness that is "nearly as big as the entire first game's Backyard." The starting zone itself is the size of the original entire map, and when complete the park will be about three times larger than Grounded 1's map. Key regions and biomes introduced so far include:

Overturned Ice Cream Cart (Icy Biome): A frozen, snow-and-ice area formed by a tipped-over ice cream cart spilling its contents. It features slick surfaces and frosty enemies. Preview imagery confirms a "spilled-out" ice-cream cart terrain.

Spooky Anthill: A large ant colony mound, described as a "spooky" anthill biome. Likely home to many ants (and possibly new queen-bug encounters).

Picnic Table Blanket / Park Grassland: Areas with giant picnic blankets, benches, and forested patches. One preview shows a tangled picnic blanket over a bench, leading to an iced beverage container interior region. These are ideal for plants (grass blades, clovers) and initial base sites.

Trash and Snack Bar Areas: Scattered junkyards and old snack stands (like a Punch-O soda cart) provide scrap materials. The Xbox Wire overview mentions snack bars and toppled carts around the park.

Ice-Cream and Frosty Spots: Apart from the ice cream cart, expect other "cold" pockets (iced soda machines, popsicle remnants) in the park.

Unique Locations: Grounded 2 will include special POIs similar to Sites & Wonders – e.g., an abandoned glasshouse greenhouse, a courtyard statue, or a decrepit soda fountain, each containing rare loot or quests (not fully revealed yet). Maps from the first game ("Grasslands", "Hedge", "Koi Pond", etc.) are replaced by similarly themed Brookhollow subzones.

Each biome has distinct enemies and resources. For example, the icy area might yield ice shards (new crafting material) and house frost-spider variants, while the anthill provides ant parts and new challenges. As Grounded 2 is early access, the full map will unlock gradually via updates, but the known parks and zones suggest a nostalgic 90s backyard turned playground of peril. Exploration is rewarded: secret caches and brand easter-eggs (like hidden Punch-O ads) are scattered throughout.
